These people are scum. I made a reservation to rent a vehicle. When I arrived the staff advised that my reservation had been cancelled and they had no vehicles that they could rent to me. A few days later I get hit with a $50 no show fee. Not only did they greatly inconvenience me, I have to fight Avis on this bogus charge when I indeed did show up.
Very disappointed. We hired a car from here. On the day of pick up, we overslept our alarm (jet lag) & called to advise them at 11.30pm that we still wanted the rental and were on our way. We arrived to find the store closes at 12 noon on Sundays- we were unaware of this and can’t understand why we were not informed of this when we called. Instead we were stranded and are out of pocket the cost of an Uber out there and the rental (as we have not yet been able to resolve this with Avis). These ladies should be ashamed of their treatment of my family and of themselves in general.
