I am very disappointed with the lack of customer service I experienced at Avis car rental at Concord Padgett Regional Airport. I was traveling for a funeral and my wife secured my reservation online before I traveled with her credit card. I brought her credit card with me, but Avis wouldn't let me use it because she was not present. I did not have another credit card so I tried using my debit card and was unable to because they run a credit check on your debit card. Quick and inexpensive
Horrible customer service, very very inpatient on the phone when customer is trying to understand the process of getting a car rental. I’m not sure if the name of the lady I spoke with is her real name but she stated her name was Am. I was shocked after only having 2 minutes of conversation with her
Avis stopped trying harder. I don’t like leaving bad reviews online. In this case, it’s warranted. The only reason I’m doing this is because of the state of the car. With that said this location needs to get its act together when it comes to the cleanliness and maintenance of their rental cars. The van we got was dirty inside and out. There is clear damage to body and the windshield is cracked, and the gas wasn’t filled, and the smell inside was horrible.
Much like the other negative reviews… got to the airport and they had no rental cars available. don’t waste your time, book a car through charlotte douglas airport if you can.
