This is the second Avis in Houston who are disinterested and lazy. To the owner of this business please make sure you are looking into how many customers you loose. None of my business, it’s yours.
No direction
I rented a vehicle from Avis at the Wallisville, TX location and returned it three weeks later to Hobby Airport—only to find a $510 miscellaneous charge added to my contract. Trying to resolve the issue has been nothing short of a nightmare. When I called the Wallisville location to discuss the charge, I was met by a rude Avis representative who refused to let me speak with the owner or manager. I wasn't able to rent a car because I didn't have an old-school type credit card jn my name. I could have used one with my moms name as hers was listed on the rental agreement too but she was an hour away at work. Due to this one policy, we were unable to rent the car which I booked thru Uber. I feel like if I have a verified online debit card in my name as well as a secured credit card on top of a verified Uber account used to make the booking I should have been able to get my rental.
