The car is fine the instruction at the empty service counter had contradictory signage on who to speak with to get car and I had negative experience with a rude person from customer service. This was after several emails from Avis led me to believe I could "skip" the line with the Avis App. That was also false.

my wife and I walked in with reservation , the agent informed us that we cannot pay using my wife’s platinum card that covers the basic insurance even though We were both listed as drivers on the reservation. Cleverly she offered to book another reservation for us using using only my wife’s name and Amazon employee code to give a discount, (we don’t work for Amazon. Would provide a zero star rating if I could! Never renting with Avis again! I typically rent with Enterprise but only rented with them because it was a bit cheaper and my credit card offered a special “preferred” membership to Avis but it wasn’t worth it at all. When I got to the counter the First Gentlemen who helped me was friendly and nice, but directed me to the outside kiosk because I was a “preferred member” and didn’t need to wait (even though we had already waited 10-15 minutes).
