I made my reservation for this location on the Avis website. When I arrived to pick up the car, neither the attendant, nor the owner who the attendant called when I resisted, would honor the details of the reservation confirmation that Avis sent me. All pricing went up and allowed miles were reduced by more than half. I showed the attendant the email Avis sent but that didn't matter. The policies at this location left my mother and I stranded here. Regardless of how much money is actually in your bank account they only honor credit cards which absolutely makes no sense. I could easily pay with a card with a small limit and not have the amount to cover it whereas with a debit card the payment is taken immediately and you are on the hook for incidentals as well. Traumatizing experience. Try Ft. Pierre rentals I hear they are better

I had a terrible experience with this car rental service. The owner was extremely rude and unprofessional, making the entire process frustrating. After booking, I encountered hidden fees and unresponsive customer service when I tried to resolve issues. It felt like a scam, as they charged for damages that didn’t exist. I strongly advise against using this company; read reviews before booking to avoid similar issues. Save your money and time by choosing a more reputable rental service.

This Avis car rental location; They did not honor the original price I was quoted and arbitrarily increased the cost by 20-30% without any clear justification. When I tried to address the issue, I was met with rude and unprofessional behavior from their staff and owner ( LINDA ). The lack of respect and unfair pricing practices made this an incredibly frustrating experience. I strongly advise against coming here—you’re better off taking your business elsewhere. I wish I had option of giving 0 star to these fraudulent people.
