When I went to write this review, I had to laugh when reading the post from Marissa A. We had a reserved a one way rental from Bismark to Rapid City. To be picked up Sept 16, 2025 (just after Marissa's experience). We had reserved a Camry or similar car. When we got to the airport, they talked us into taking a Jeep Wrangler! Several hours after we left the airport, on a road with 80 mph speed limit, we found that the windshield wipers were IN HORRIBLE SHAPE. The drivers side was pretty much worthless. We reserved a SUV for 9 days. It was a one-way reservation ending in Bozeman. We were provided a Jeep Wrangler with expired plates. We returned to exchange the vehicle. The only option they had was a mini van. That is not what we reserved and would not meet our needs. A woman (I assume manager) came out from the back to assist, but instead of providing a solution or having one ounce of understanding for the situation, she proceeded to tell us how they were a franchise and their fleet is far superior to the Avis corporate fle... read more
I did have a little mix up where the address and pin sent me. The service and staff was on point, tho... it was pretty quick and easy.
Renters beware... Hertz & Enterprise opens at 10am but Avis opens at 12am. Talked to the manager at 10:30 and mentioned I was a preferred member why wouldn't the rental be ready like all other Avis's. This is Bismarck...we do things differently. No matter if it's in the main airport. SMH. Never again
