We dealt with an absolute fiasco with a rental car received at the Philadelphia airport, whose air-conditioning decided to break on the hottest day of the year in New Jersey, an entire day spent trying to resolve this problem with Avis’s customer service, a horrible customer service experience at the Avis Trenton Airport location and at least 16 calls to Avis customer service. I had an awful experience at another rental place nearby. When the clerk threatened not to rent us a car, I looked elsewhere. I found your Avis! I walked in at 4:52 pm with the location closing at 5:00 pm. I told the gentleman at the desk that I needed to rent a car today. He asked if I had a reservation, but I did not because I left the "other" place empty-handed.
