What a horrible rental experience I just had. I rented a car from this location for a one way rental. Being the airport location it was very expensive ($315) for one day for a Toyota Rav4. I accepted that since there were no non-airport locations with available cars. When the paperwork was signed and I finished the payment authorization, I was handed the keys and told "oh, there is only 1 gallon of fuel left, you will have to get gas"!! This location is the best Avis property I've ever visited. They staff are efficient, caring, and professional. Avis is by for the best option in Trenton. Thank you guys for the great service!!
The car rental process was fine but a few big issues: no one picks up the local phone number and although they open at 9:00 sometimes they are late and the doors are still locked. Beyond that nothing is properly labeled and so when you get to the hanger where the car rental pickup is there are no fewer than five doors to choose from. A simple large label on one of the doors with suffice. Car was fine, could have been a little cleaner but nothing crazy. Update: dropped down to 1 star. They incorrectly charged me an additional hour fee. They've also charged me for tolls when I had my own ez pass. Just an inconvenience and waste of time to deal with being on the phone and emailing. I did not have any of these issues with enterprise In person Customer service was 4 stars. Andre was great with initial and drop off outside of these egregious additional charges
