The local office was fine, nice lady in the office. The car I was given reeked of cigarettes and weed, was a quart low on oil when I checked it at the house, and literally 9,000 miles over for an oil change according to the sticker in the corner of the windshield. I had to wash all the windows inside and out when I got it home, exterior body was very dirty as well. My problem is not so much with the Dover location as it is with the company. I have rented numerous vehicles over the past two years, and have been completely pleased each time. On Friday, March 13th of this month I rented a vehicle to attend my granddaughter's gymnastics competition on a rare occasion to do so in Philadelphia. I have been renting from this Avis location for years. Always friendly and accommodating. Their customer service is exceptional. Any time I need to rent a vehicle, they are my number 1 choice. Highly Recommended for your rental needs. 10 stars if I could.
This has been by far my best rental experience so far… The young lady who take care of bookings is a “vibe” multi-tasking, being polite while dealing with upset clients. In one experience, she showed every area of professionalism. Thanks
