On July 1, 2025, I made a reservation for a full size car to be picked up from Avis at Romeoville IL on July 18, 2025, at 5:00pm. The Romeoville Avis office calls me on 7/18/25 at 4:25pm to tell me they have no cars available. I guess a reservation means nothing. They located a car that had just been returned and said I could take it if I made it to their location by 6pm. I rushed to get to Avis 15 miles away from my home before the 6pm deadline.
