Avis/Budget was a vacation saver for my family. I had a 2 month reservation from Enterprise. I went to pick up my rental and they REFUSED my Debit/Visa card. Although there was PLENTY of money in it they refused it..So i went next door to Avis with fingers crossed and they came threw for us,On the spot last minute rental and they had exactly what we would of been getting from Enterprise. Rented a car DURING COVID-19 and they are not upholding their "Safe travel" Coronavirus protocols. My vehicle had TRASH in it, including old cups that someone's mouth was all over. The steering wheel had speckles of stuff along it and the electronics screen had dust and fingerprints. Clearly they are not cleaning these vehicles AT ALL. Called to complain and was transferred to the national customer service that would only offer me a $40 coupon off a future rental.... I DON'T THINK I EVER WANT TO RENT FROM AVIS AGAIN. Would be a zero if that was possible. Did not have a full tank of gas as promised. Talked to the older lady at the desk told her that there was not so she said she would credit me $10. and I did not need to bring it back full. So I decided that I would fill the tank up for the next person. Got my credit card bill no refund. BEWARE of her promises. I made this reservations 1 month prior to when I needed it. Didn't get the car that was promised Got a jeep that was way to big for me. Never will go through Avis again
