Got pulled over for having expired plates in N. Carolina. The paper "registration" they gave me wasn't even for the correct vehicle. The trooper has never seen anything like it in 10 YOS....Luckily he was reasonable and didn't give me a ticket. When I went to AVIS the lady at the counter said they (State Patrol) do that all the time and its not actually expired. Apparently an AVIS worker knows more about registering vehicles than a N. Pick up was smooth and Sherri was very helpful and nice! Unfortunately once on the road our registration did not match the vehicle we were driving and days into our trip we were pulled over for expired tags!!! The police officer said they expired in December of 2025! When we returned the vehicle a different lady was working, very rude! Told my husband the police officer was wrong and they were not expired! (My husband had to sit in the cruiser while they tried to sort out the issue. I doubt police officers run plates and get... read more
We rented a vehicle from Avis this year and Sherri was absolutely wonderful. She was super friendly, very professional and I highly recommend you go visit her if you're looking to lease a vehicle whether it's for vacation or a temporary vehicle. She was awesome and I will definitely go back to see her if I need to lease (rent) a vehicle for a short time again.
I rent from here pretty frequently, and every time they're helpful, pleasant and get me taken care of right away. I look forward to continuing to work with them!
I wanted to thank thank Damien for being sweet and polite he was very easy to work with he was patient with me and he made my Mother’s Day a blessing so I will definitely be booking with him again
