Just rented with the location had a really great experience this time. Fast straight forward service. I had a few out of town business meetings and my vehicle was just great! I will always rent from this location from here on out while I live in this area! Very conveniently located. However, the the pickup process could be a bit more efficient and the vehicle windshield interior needed to be cleaned.
I’ve given Avis multiple chances, but the experience keeps getting worse. The first time I rented a car, the vehicle was full of ants. I still stayed calm and let it go. The second time, the older man with the ponytail at the counter “Bobby” told me he wasn’t going outside to check the mileage and that I had to fill out the paperwork myself so he “wouldn’t have to walk out there.” That is extremely lazy, unprofessional, and unacceptable customer service. Overall, I had a mostly positive experience with this car rental agency. The car I rented was enjoyable to drive and in good condition. The base rate was fair, and the in-person service agents were okay—somewhat accommodating, especially when I requested an extension on my rental. However, there were a couple of drawbacks. The taxes and fees added nearly $100 to my total, which felt excessive.
