Do not go to this Avis at the Kalamazoo airport. Avis used to be my go-to rental company, but this one location is making me rethink that. They tried to give me a car with bald tires, a windshield that has cracks, and a wobble sound when driving. They initially said they had no other cars except the parking lot was full. Wally helped me out had a great experience and friendly very professional Overall, Avis provided an stress-free rental experience with excellent customer service and reliable vehicles. I’ll definitely be choosing Avis again for my future travel needs.
I had a confirmation number, showed up at the Kalamazoo airport to rent the car, was told by Avis that the reservation had been cancelled by Avis without any notice, and the local Avis representatives would not assist me. I watched multiple other renters obtain cars. When inquiring, it was based on the date the rental reservation was made. Evidently, a confirmation number means nothing to Avis.
