Paid for my rental in advance just to have them call me a few hours before pickup to tell me it was not available and that they would give me a lesser vehicle at no price difference.I had to cancel the reservation due to the vehicle not being fit for my needs and was charged 150 dollars for the cancelation.
Service was great as usual but I did not get the Pacifica van I had reserved, I ended up with a different van (Kia I think) it rides like a garbage truck and not comfortable at all, and a rattle that is driving me nuts, never going to just accept a "equal" again, I sm very disappointed. I might try enterprise next time so I get what I reserve.
We were supposed to pick up a car at Warsaw but they said they don't have any car's and then we heard from the people who booked the reservation and they said it was going to cost more money to rent it and they don't want to refund the money back to the credit card
Mike Cochran was amazing. My sister rented from Budget in Chicago. My car broke down in Denver and I rented from Avis. We both were traveling for a funeral. Sister's Budget Rental had a dragging piece. I had an oil change warning and needed to pivot the rental to a 1 way. We both were tired and didn't think dealing with the problems would be a pleasant experience. Tap in Mike he solved ALL the problems with ease and made the experience pleasant, quick and professional. Thank you Mike!
I have no issues with Avis as it is the rental agency I always use when traveling. But when dropping off my car keys after hours, we found that you needed to use an envelope with the key inside to drop it off. One thing they do not provide though is the needed envelope. This required me to buy a whole pack of envelopes just to use a SINGLE envelope from it to drop off my car keys.
