This is my second time leaving a review my first one was mysteriously deleted ?? Horrible experience, horrible staff! Didn’t have the car i reserved weeks in advanced. Front desk guy was USELESS didnt even try selling me a different car…come back to return the car 15 mins late, which when i called customer service they assured me it was ok. My bill was $304 so tell me why they charged my card almost $900!!!????? Do not rent from here. Absolutely HORRIBLE.
Absolutely horrible customer service from the Avis location in Simi Valley. I made a reservation expecting a car to be available, only to be told four hours before pickup that there were no cars available. What is the purpose of making a reservation if the company can’t honor it? People plan their schedules around these bookings, so being notified at the last minute is completely unacceptable. My experience with Avis on May 30th was, without question, the worst rental car experience I have ever had. Two weeks in advance, I reserved a 12-passenger van for a group of 10 people. In the days leading up to my reservation, I received multiple reminder emails from Avis confirming my upcoming rental, including one the morning of pickup, giving every indication that my vehicle would be ready as reserved.
