i have always had good experiences renting car from AVIS in Ridgecrest, CA. I rented a car to go to LAX for a month's vacation. When i returned i found an email from AVIS that i had done almost $400 in damage to the car. I was unable to login to the AViS website provided in the email. I took a copy of the email to Jim at the Ridgecrest AVIS office and he volunteered to help. Prepaid with my fiance's credit card, but didn't have the card or card holder with me when I went to pick up as I was travelling alone. Company policy that they couldn't give me the car since the card holder wasn't present (my bad completely! Not upset about this part) But the way the representative informed me about this was really rude and aggresive. Car was clean in good condition. Had a glitch with my C.C. and they helped me through it.
Cost. Market price. Hours. Great. They are open 7 days a week. Unlike a local competitor, Avis is still open during lunch. Pick up and drop off. A breeze. Never had an issue.
