They say something else and deliver somthing else... Not friendly.. Not helpful.. John is the supervisor who makes his own rules... I talk to the company agent over the phone he told different rules then guy at the counter.
Absolute insanity. Reserved a Tahoe/yukon sized car for college move in. Arrived at midnight and the only option they provided us was a Jeep Cherokee (absolutely NOT the same size) what’s worse is the car smelled like it had been submerged in water- the mildew smell was next level. Took it back and said no way we’re driving this and the next Cherokee smelled like someone had been smoking weed. DO NOT rent from AVIS IF YOU FLY INTO SYRACUSE!!! Many other options but avoid this company at this location at all costs.
This is the most vile and reprehensible service I’ve ever experienced in my entire lifetime. Impossible to get in touch with a single human, their system is completely disconnected and the availability online in no way reflects any availability in person. Zero accountability and zero care for the customer. They do not deserve to be in business
Waited 1.5 hours to get my car which I had a reservation for. 20 people in line and it was the slowest service. When I was returning the vehicle, the rental car driver yelled at me because I wasn’t parked in a spot yet and I was cleaning out my garbage. The gas lid was missing. I should’ve have bought the fuel fill up option because I filled it up when I was in a town hours from the rental location.
Only place in the area with cars available on short notice. Really helped us.
