Called and spoke with Kate. She was rude and very unprofessional. I called to confirm if I could rent a car with my passport, credit card and a 60 day temporary Drivers License. It’s issued from the DMV with a California seal, signature and expiration date. Explained my DL was in transit and also have a dmv digital Drivers license to reassure that my end was good. Probably the most rude Avis employee. Asian lady, Helen - She treated me, an Avis Presidents club member like trash, with absolute disrespect. Came for a vehicle exchange, she decided the best way to handle it was to close the RA and said to me “it makes perfect sense. If you don’t like it, go to the airport”. Avoid at all costs.
Liars! I picked up a 4Runner with a small hard to notice crack . December 8, 2024 from Pittsburgh and returned to this location. I spoke to Guillermo? From the Pittsburg location where I picked up. and he said he noted it. He did not and today, January 28, 2025 they took $284 off my credit card. They are scammers. Do not ever rent from Avis!
