Rented a car it needed both front tires changed and a oil change the first week. Koo stuff happens. Needed 2 more front tires in 2 to 3 weeks. Ok maybe cause it was used tires. (Well that's all avis will reimburse for tires can't get new ones) car wheel alignment was off so took it to get fixed, mechanic says its another problem wrong with thw car that's causing the worn tires. We arrived just 30 minutes after our scheduled rental time and were told our reserved SUV had been given away. The lady at the counter was extremely rude, dismissive, and unhelpful— told me to go all the way to SFO airport to get another car. Called and spoke with Kate. She was rude and very unprofessional. I called to confirm if I could rent a car with my passport, credit card and a 60 day temporary Drivers License. It’s issued from the DMV with a California seal, signature and expiration date. Explained my DL was in transit and also have a dmv digital Drivers license to reassure that my end was good.
