The shuttle took about 45min to come around to the airport. At the Avis counter there were more than 20 folks in line with only two servicing reps.
We had a pre-paid reservation for today at this location and although there are more than 7 cars parked, and Customer Service over the phone confirms that they can see available cars in the system at this location, Mr Omar said that those were for other clients. He was very unresponsive and careless. Worst experience. Don’t trust Avis at Westheimer.
when i rented through costco travel the rental price was $310 for 7 days, when i came to pick up the car they added $230 for car loss insurance, even though i said no! because my english is not good and it was 11pm at IAH airport, i signed the rental contract! the next morning i checked and they still charged $33/day for insurance so i brought the car back here, they charged $142 for 12 hours! too much, too bad!!!
