Agents tried to charge $450 for “Excessive Pet Hair.” A supervisor named Saeed was involved in the assessment. At most there were a few stray hairs transferred from clothing/backpacks; it wasn’t “excessive” and NO animal was ever in the vehicle. I recorded a video immediately and escalated to Avis Customer Service and Costco Travel. Document everything at pickup/return and ask for their photos and the written policy/threshold before you leave.

Genuinely bad customer service. Would suggest avoiding entirely and going somewhere else.

I rented a car here, I paid the $25 extra coverage "worry free" that showed a banner :" if you get into an accident, you walk away worry fee, we take care of everything, you don't even have to file a claim ". Then, I got into an accident, I called them, they sent the tow truck, I walked away worried free. A month later a collection company called me asking for my insurance, and charging me $3k+ for liability for the damage in their client's car.
