There was a line of 20 people and only 1 employee giving us service. We waited more than an hour to get our car. Ridiculous.
Went to pick up my car after my flight. As others have mentioned, there is no option for Preferred customers-it's a common line and no ability to just go to your car. When I get to the counter, there are four people sitting at different stations but only one of them is helping a customer and there 3 others in line. After waiting, I show my driver's license, am handed my keys and leave. Accepted a car reservation, then when we got there they said they had no cars. They had a list of 30 plus people they booked but had no cars for. And every other company out of cars by then. So….go with someone else.
Pathetic. Reserved a yukon which they didnt have. I may sue them.
If you take the regularly scheduled 9pm Delta flight from Atlanta to BTV, DO NOT book AVIS or Budget. When my flight landed at midnight, the rental car counter was closed. No signage, no email, no cancellation. This is a ROUTINE FLIGHT, not the product of a crazy delay. My flight number was on my reservation, and my reservation was supposed to come with a guarantee my car would be available for three hours in case of delays. Nope.
