Check your final statement. Avis charged us for fuel even though we filled the tank before dropping the rental back off. I will say they did remove the charge after a few calls but it begs the question "How often do they get away with this?"
The address link listed on my Avis contract takes you to the wrong place. You need to manually put in directions for FCA airport and not use the link. I was late turning in my car because of this and was charged. When I told the Avis lady at the counter that, she said it was a “google” problem not hers. Maybe she’s right it’s googles fault not hers but what awful customer service and then to be charged extra on top. Returning car at the airport was very confusing. There was no signage in the lot and no employees to assist outside yet there was 4 employees inside. It wouldn't cost a lot to make a sign directing you to bring the keys inside and see an agent instead of walking all around the lot looking for someone to help
Great experience!! Great customer service! We flew into Kalispell, I had reserved my car beforehand, I had my keys for rental car in hand before we had our checked bags. Easy drop off had my receipt and deposit money back in my account before flying out.
We arrived at the Atlanta airport only to have to wait two hours in line with our toddler and infant to get our car. You can imagine by the time it was our turn we were ready to get out of there. The agent asked about adding insurance and other add ons which we declined. At the end she showed us our quote which was significantly more than I had anticipated, so I inquired about it.
