Sucked. Worst care rental experience I've had in North America! Booked a car through website. Took a cab to get there. They didnt have a car and also informed me that they dont rent to Canadians. US licenses only. Phoned Avis and they said there was nothing they could do as this location is privately owned. Will never use Avis again. Also a 45 minute wait while waited for someone to come back from "Servicing a Car"
One of the worst experiences of my life. If you get anyone to answer the call, you were lucky. I needed to rent a vehicle from Utah to Las Vegas airport. Booked about one week in advance. Called and confirmed my reservation with Allison on 2/18 and she assured me that I wouldn’t have any issues since I booked in advance and there would be plenty of vehicles for Sunday, 2/22 (today). Terrible Experience with Avis (Reservation #53596082) Avis completely ruined what was supposed to be a 12-day expensive vacation. It turned into a nightmare of endless calls with customer service, roadside assistance, app installations, and dead-battery issues — all because Avis gave me an EV instead of the hybrid I had booked.
