Visited on 6/17/26 and the girl at the phone told us she had a van available for us to rent then quickly hung up before i could ask anything else, then when I called back she hung up again. We got there and she told us there were no cars to rent except a BMV luxury class and was very rude about it and told us she never talked to us on the phone and that I called a different location. I sat down and called the same number I had been calling and wouldn't you know it, her damn phone rang. POS service
There's a reason Enterprise sells out consistently and Avis always has vehicles available. Go to Enterprise in Cedar City if you want a good experience. Avis is the only other option here, and it stinks.
BE VERY CAUTIOUS RENTING FROM AVIS! If I could give the Avis company as a whole a rating it would be negative stars. The only reason they are getting 2 stars for the Cedar location is that the representative at the counter was very friendly. However apparently information was given incorrectly and after I returned the car, I was charged an extra $447- more than the prepaid rental charge- for "optional services". I hate to give 1star for an experience with only 1 employee, but it was a bad enough encounter that I will. I took a cab back and forth between my hotel and the airport twice and still could not get a vehicle. My reservation was pre-paid. I could not locate anyone from the first trip. 10 a.m, the office was closed up with a sign on the counter, hours in bold print (8am-6pm on sundays, just as contract read). The guy at the counter did his best but AVIS as a company os absolutely terrible NEVER try to rent from these clowns.
