Avis is honestly the worst car rental company. I booked a car two months ahead of time for a week, and just as I was about to leave, the manager called to say they didn't have my car. She mentioned one might come in later from another location, but I had to go to her place first to keep my rate and then drive to the other spot to pick it up. I called four different customer service lines, and one rep offered me a free day rental for my trouble, but couldn't send me any confirmation or put it in writing. This place is a total... read more
My experience was terrible both times. I had reserved a car 10 days in advance, i grts to avis and there is no car, i come home and reserved another car with the representative at corporate office and got a confirmation number and called to verify the car is available, no car, i am totally frustrated with this whole Avis deal. They had an excuse saying they had no phone number to contact me and they never emailed me
