My son and I went to retrieve hey rental this morning and we're shocked by the behavior of your agent at the airport in St Simons Island, GA. I told her that I had eye surgery 10 days ago and did not feel comfortable driving. I said that my son could act as a surrogate driver. But when I asked to fill out the medical form, she said it didn't exist.. So I called the customer care toll free number for Avis and they told me there was a medical form that I could complete. She yelled at 81 year old mother calling her a liar. She was very unprofessional. when we arrived, she said I don't know if I have any cars or your reservations in the system because I haven't turn my computer on. She was just sitting there doing nothing. Avoid at all costs.
Avis St Simons does not even deserve a 1 star. I went in to Avis a while back it was close to my house. Convenient. So I get there when they open and no ones there so I wait 35 minutes until Amy comes in already with an attitude because I’m standing there. So I got the car everything was fine until check out. Amy has told me that they charge for miles which I was unaware my paperwork said one thing Amy’s another. So I had asked how much would I be charged and she got an attitude.
