Took over 45 minutes to go through the line and there was only 5 people in front of me. Only one service agent averaging 10 min per guest. They tried to put me into a Tacoma instead of the luxury SUV I had ordered and already paid for. Finally once we got out to the outside station we were told to wait again. After 20 min and us questioning multiple people, they finally realized they had lost our car and had to assign us a different one. Worst rental experience ever.
How do you let people rent a car that clearly shows on the reservation an after hours return and not explain anything about the return process?! Let alone no clear information online nor even a number one can call before 7am?! I got to the rental parking lot and had to trust the security guy who creeped up on me outta nowhere that I should leave the keys in the car along with the rental agreement. The male employee that runs this office contacted me w VERY short notice to let me know he was closing at 430 pm instead of 5 pm to return a car. It is very unprofessional, and closing early because you want to leave early is not a customer problem. We decided to go elsewhere for our needs. I don't need last-minute change of plans by a rude, lazy employee.
Rented with Avis because their rates were very reasonable. When I showed up at the airport, they said somehow my confirmed reservation was mysteriously canceled, BUT they were going to do everything possible to get me the rental I signed up for. It took awhile (4 different people each with increasing computer access), but they made it right! I ended up with a bigger car at the same price. Each of the 4 people were extremely kind, empathetic, and helpful! I will rent either Avis again and again!!
Been in line for nearly 45 mins. There’s one person working the desk and the line is so long it’s out of the rope barriers and into the rest of the lobby. Absolutely ridiculous that they don’t hire more people. Never using this service again.
