Completely unreliable car rental location. The staff told us nonchalantly that the car we booked is not available, offering absolutely no helpful alternatives and seemed to think that the fact that we booked the car the day of is a problem. Don’t rent a car here and risk ruining your plans
Terrible service. Did not have a car available. Representative blamed us for making a reservation this morning, yet also cited they have 4-5 customers ahead of us who reserved "way earlier" that had also not received a car yet.
Made a reservation to rent a car at the Avis location in Asheville, North Carolina. When I got there, they said there were no cars available. She said it could be about an hour and she would call me when one came in. After no phone call. I went there and they still had no cars for me. There were two other people waiting for cars when I first got there as well. This place deserves zero stars. There is absolutely no sense of urgency when it comes to helping customers with mechanical issues, and the staff’s attitudes are terrible. Ashley, in particular, was extremely rude and unhelpful. Overall, a terrible experience at this location. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else.
Unfortunately I can't give a lower rating. Picked up car. I was told their printer wasn't working and my rental agreement would be emailed to me. Over the course of the next 30 hours, I called multiple times as I had not received the agreement. The rental location never picked up their phone; it continuously rolled over to their national facility. Avis customer service could not get me the rental agreement.
