Someone here used my card for someone else rental car it was confirmed when i spoke with Avis Customer Center. They stated they will refund me back my money and never did. They gave me a car with barely no gas and I brought it back on full, did offer any type of inconvenience, than after that they kept my 200.00 dollars deposit stating i did not renew my rental when there is a phone recording and evidence that i did. It really should be a zero because I reserved a car yesterday. They had a special on the mustang. They called to say they don’t have any electric cars when I was about to go pick it up and then I said well what cars do you have and they said none. A little ridiculous that there’s a rental car company that has no cars and it’s taking Reservations.
Worst rental experience I’ve ever had. Picked up my car at 9:00 a.m. and it smelled like weed and was dirty. When I asked for another car, I was told it would cost extra. After spending over an hour and a half on the phone, I was told there would be no charge to switch. When I returned, they said the only option was an electric car or I’d have to drive to the airport to exchange it. I ended up returning the car and using my personal vehicle instead. Terrible customer service. Avoid this Avis location.
Absolutely the worst rental experience I’ve ever had — and that’s saying something. I had a minivan reserved for over a month for a 3-week stay in South Florida with my wife and two little kids. The reservation was confirmed, locked in, and ready to go… or so I thought. Instead, I woke up on the morning my rental was supposed to start to a voicemail — left before I was even awake — informing me that this Avis location simply didn’t have the vehicle I reserved and they were cancelling my reservation.
