Worst experience i have ever had. Car engine overheated and broke down 3 and a half hours out from location where we are staying with family and 7 hours from home with my two daughters one of which has no epilepsy medication. Avis has left us stranded in a city we don't know and left us to pay for all ubers and hotel...the location they sent us to after they conviently towed their vehicle had NO VEHICLE. Very expensive
We rented a car from avis at iah in Houston. The tire showed low tire pressure so we are at discount tire. Informed us the tire is bad !! So when we call the closest avis at the airport in San Angelo we were informed that since we didn't purchase YOUR insurance we are responsible for YOU RENTING A VEHICLE WITH A BAD TIRE !!! SO IM SUPPOSED TO BUY YOU A NEW TIRE !!!! what a crock !!! After paying over $2000.
