Was just fine. Corolla I rented was cleaned and prepped as I waited, but I had reserved the night before at 10:00 PM. Clearly some angry travelers had some bad experiences or made some bad decisions and blamed the staff. But, mine was fine. I was expecting the worst with a 3.4 rating but would rent from here again. It’s a small staff 2 people only here though, so I think if you order a rental after hours or get long line when checking in or out it is literally because there are only 2 employees and they have no facilities.

Picked up a van to drive to maryland and back. Worked with Carl. He was super enthusiastic and friendly and knowledgable. The van we rented had a small crack in the windshield which i didnt realize till after i drove off. Called and Carl told me it was no problem and put it in the notes. Crack got worse on the trip and called and allowed me to swap the van out, no charge at all.

This location closes very early in weekends which is ok, but they don’t allow off-hour drop off is a big issue to me. Any drop-off during their after hour will count towards the next business day they open. The employees are not willing to corporate with you to accommodate your drop-off needs too. When I asked about this they just say “it’s an Avis thing, we don’t get control”.

Wasted my time coming to this Avis location to only be told they couldn't honor my reservation since they had no cars available. Would have been nice if they had the courtesy to call and let me know.
