so I rented a car from the Staten Island location for Thursday 10 AM to be returned Friday at 5 PM. I received a phone call on Friday from Avis representative me if I was gonna be returning the car on Friday, but that I technically had until Saturday 10 AM because I was already passed the 10 AM timeframe for Friday. This rental agency sucks. They did not honor the reservation that i do, and they scammed us by charging us with a walk- in price! Plus, the workers did not put in the riht drop off location, that's why we got charged with another $750!!!! Tried to dispute it, but denied it!! Why should i pay it when it wasnt my fault they put the wrong srop off location?????? Zero stars!!!! Wrong place to rent a car!
The Staff was not courteous, they were unprofessional and rude. I am an Avis Preferred Customer and I have been treated in one of the worst ways possible, in all my avis rentals I have made this was one of the worst interactions I have ever had. I am really disappointed and I am considering switching to a different rental company.
I got put on the do not rent list because my credit card company denied a charge I use Avis for business rentals Being placed on the do not rent list for this impacted my business obligations severely and I also hope to be compensated for the days missed that I prepaid for when I was denied at the counter.
