I rented a car from Avis (Manhattan - 216 W 76th St) to drive my family and children to Maryland. Shortly into our highway drive on the NJ Turnpike, the dashboard displayed a "Low Engine Oil Level" warning. Upon pulling over, the dipstick was virtually dry. Avis handed over a vehicle that clearly received zero pre-rental safety or maintenance checks, forcing me to stop at a service station to buy two quarts of oil out of pocket just to prevent catastrophic engine failure and keep my family safe. I’ve been to more than 15 Avis locations across the country and multiple in New York - this location is by far the most efficient location I’ve been to! I just wish they had more cars available :)
Pessima esperienza!!! Abbiamo prenotato una macchina a 200 dollari e abbiamo pagato a sorpresa 400$ IN PIU’ perché nella prenotazione era presente UK come paese di provenienza anzichè Italia, ma nella prenotazione non c’era modo di indicare il paese di provenienza!
West 76th is my favorite location!!! Raymond and team, especially Octavia, are extremely customer excellence focused! I've been renting a lot lately due to some unexpected necessary trips. Avis W 76 always has my back and it's one less thing that I have to worry about. Thank you again!!!
