Made a reservation 6 months ago for a car to drop off at JFK. They told me they had no car for me. I have used Avis for 25 years this is the first time I have ever been told they have no car for me. Will not use them again. Be warned.
I made a reservation with Avis online, expecting a smooth and reliable experience. When I arrived at the rental location to pick up my car, I was made to wait 30 minutes, only to be told that no cars were available—despite having a confirmed reservation. This was not just inconvenient—it was a complete waste of time and money. I had to spend out of pocket for a two-way Uber, not to mention the frustration and disruption to my day.
Worst service ever. So slow.
Worker on June 18th at 1:30-2:30 left a be back in 15 min sign on door was waiting for almost an entire hour
