My husband and I rented a car from Avis in Rochester, NY, from July 28, 2026, through August 1, 2026. Unfortunately, on the day of our return, while we were already at the airport preparing for our flight, my husband realized that he had accidentally left his AirPods on the driver’s seat of the rental vehicle. Complaint though goes to Avis in general ... lost item in car an hour ago, but the L&F site was unable to process my claim (frozen page) and despite 4 calls, it's IMPOSSIBLE to talk to someone at the location where I just left my car. This is a lousy example of customer service!
We had an unfortunate situation with our car rental flying across the country with a family of 6 and although there wasnt much to do about our situation there was a young girl with brown hair and glasses who was taking care of us who had one of the most disgusting attitudes I have ever seen working in customer service. Convenient since Budget counter was closed by time we arrived. One suggestion... you should clean your cars of the marijuana smell of the previous renter or worker before you rent it again. My jacket now smells like it now and it is very pronounced in the car.
