Was treated like garbage at the counter and was not given the vehicle I reserved, being told there was not one available. When I went to retrieve my crappy Ford the vehicle I reserved was sitting right next to it, clean an ready for rental. Went back inside and the girl told me I couldn't have it, made her call the manager and she tried to convince him not to let me have it even though it was on my reservation. He said it's mine and it's on the res. They gave me the car but did not transfer the prepaid tank and so charged me... read more
They were super helpful upfront, but I left something extremely valuable to me in the car and it is an act of Congress to get somebody on the phone that can help me. I have a reference number that I got online and it does not work over the phone and there’s no way to talk to a human being. That is there. This is the worst service I’ve ever received. If somebody can call me or contact me from the Avis at At the Rochester Airport, I will retract my comment
