I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent rental experience at an Avis location at 811 Spruce in St. Louis. at the Westin Hotel. When I picked up my rental vehicle on Thursday, I observed another customer return the vehicle moments before I was given the keys. The vehicle had not been inspected or cleaned before being assigned to me. Upon entering the car, I immediately noticed strong odors of both gasoline and marijuana. I can honestly say that I’d rather let a person go before me just to have my service from their representative Lottie. She speaks with a smile, tries to get me deals & helps to calm me down when I begin to fret.
Fantastic experience from start to finish. The vehicle was clean, reliable, and exactly as described. Communication was quick and professional, and the whole process was smooth and stress-free. You can tell they genuinely care about customer service and making sure everything goes right. I’d absolutely rent from them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable rental experience.
Worst experience ever. Went to pickup the car and no one was in the office. Waited 30 minutes and someone finally showed up. Gave us a filthy car with literal food bits stuck to the steering wheel. Also, the tank was down an eighth of a tank (not the worst of it). Drive it from K.C. to St Louis and went to drop it off. No one at that office either.
