What made this 5 stars was the service provided by Bob, who was upfront with me since I was renting last minute on an emergency trip and needed a car same day. The car had a Smokey smell but I was limited on time and options. Bob was courteous and professional, and elevated my experience. Very convenient location inside the hotel on Scottsdale road, you won’t be disappointed.
I NEVER write reviews. But being out $650 because the check in person did not tell me he was charging me for insurance I didn't want. Guess what I will write a review. Avis wont get my business again. Disappointed in that and the customer service line that gave me the run around for over an hour. Highly recommended if you do use Avis to be sure they speak very loudly and give you ALL the information otherwise you will spend $280+ extra dollars over what you were quoted and already paid.
Had an accident recently and been without a car for a week. Everything was very smooth from the reservation to pick up.Would recommend

I was a witness to the difficulties she faces with angry customers. Her ability and attitude is spectacular in such circumstances.
