They spring a credit inquiry on you to rent a car..... that statement in and if itself should tell you all you need to know. Some of us would have to spend the good part of an hour on the phone to remove credit freezes

小心！Avis 可能會捏造延遲還車時間，惡意加收費用！ 很糟的租車經驗！請不要依照櫃檯小姐的指示使用自助還車，否則很可能被惡意加收超時費用！ 我完全依規定操作：車子加滿油，還車時間還提早兩個小時。當時櫃檯人員正在接待其他客戶，直接指示我將鑰匙和還車單（寫明還車時間、里程數、油表）投入還車箱。我當天下午四點半就已經搭機離境美國。 結果最終帳單卻惡意寫成我在隔天早上 8 點才還車，強行多收一天的租金和保險！ 我提出書面抗議，但 Avis 完全只是官腔回覆，硬說「系統紀錄」如此，完全漠視事實。這就是 欺騙顧客、搶錢行為！ 奉勸大家：千萬不要相信這裡的還車流程，如果沒有現場拿到書面確認，你極有可能會被亂收費。這樣的公司完全不值得信任，我絕對不會再使用 Avis！ Beware!
