I have rented with Avis nearly exclusively for 30 years. I recently rented a car with Avis in Tweed New Haven airport. Checkout was fine, but when we got to the car it was filthy! The exterior was dirty but the interior was worse…looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed for months. The dust was thick on the dash. The attendant said they did not have access to a car wash, but there is a commercial vacuum right in the lot.
