Horrible service, Avis tries to charge you for a cleaning fee even up to two weeks after you return the vehicle, stating that it was excessive and a $450 charge. I will be disputing this with AVIS Customer service. i was already charged a Misc. Fee before for $125 for returning the vehicle dirty. Will never be using AVIS again if these are the shady practices they like to engage in.

I recently had a disappointing experience with Avis that I feel compelled to share. Upon receiving our rental car, we found the interior unclean, with sand scattered throughout. When returning the vehicle, a staff member at the counter rudely informed us that we would be charged $125 for cleaning unless we took care of it ourselves. Customer service omg where do I start. The older guy that work there is a liar, rude, unethical sales. He had the younger guy to give me one dirty vehicle. It’s was dirty in and out, gas was on E I ask him why I could get the other vehicle that was out there and cleaned. He said it was rented out already. I when pass the company hours after closing and that same clean vehicle was still there.
