Avoid renting here if you can. I was charged for returning the car early, I’m not kidding. And Avis has a weird charge for gas if you drive fewer than 75 miles, even if you refill the tank, which I did. I was also shouted at by one of the employees for no reason. Renting a car in Brooklyn is generally difficult but this was a pretty bad experience.
