Easy booking process. Friendly & courteous staff at pickup. Car was lovely and clean. Easy out of hours return. Would recommend and would definitely consider using them again.
DON'T TRUST AVIS. YOUR CREDIT CARD WILL BE CHARGED 10X MORE!!! (Avis Case: 75385390) I was going to return it in Gatwick, but the employee Zack said that the return fee at another location would only be 150.00. I asked him to charge it and put it in the system. He said it wasn't necessary and I should just use the drop key. To my surprise, I have a bill of almost two thousand dollars and other issues. Extremely dissatisfied.

I had a pretty good experience renting from Avis as this was my first time using them for my 2 week trip to London. I was a bit skeptical at first seeing some mixed reviews but decided to go for them as I got a pretty good deal compared to Hertz. I landed at North terminal and took the free train over to the South terminal. There are ample signages so you won't miss you way to the car rental kiosks.
