Worst service ever, horrible customer service, the lady who works there is extremely rude,disrespectful and unprofessional. They caused major delays in our trip, initially they gave us a car that malfunctioned and they subsequently exchange it with a different car that had a horrible noise on turns so we had to exchange the cars twice and both times they made us wait in line even though its their fault. Only two employees on the computers while other 4 just talking like if they were on lunch. Meanwhile a line of 20 people waiting. Over 1 1/2 hour to get a rental. Please avoid this company
My flight was delayed and all other rental car companies were closed. I made an online reservation with Avis. Waited in line a hour for them to say “unless you made your reservation more than 24 hours ago we do not have a car for you”
I have never experienced anything like it. It took two hours to get a vehicle in the Avis preferred line with a reservation.
My EV rental had less than 70 miles at pickup time. We couldn’t even reach our hotel before stopping to recharge and thus delaying our plans. Huge inconvenience. Cherry on top: the car wreaked of cigarette smoke. Also, Avis please advertise your true prices. My rental came out to 2x the price after taxes and fees.
