Great location for visiting my relatives. Staff is very friendly and greeting. Staff is always willing to help out with my family needs.
My mother-in-law lived at LBJ Medical Center (now called Avir at Johnson City) for 8 months. In full transparency, we were doubtful, as she was quite picky about the “aesthetics” of where she lived but when her dementia escalated, we wanted her in Johnson City, where we live, to be able to have easier access to her than where she was living in Fredericksburg. Let me say this…the “fancy” place she lived before was lipstick on a pig. While LBJ may be an older facility, it is ALWAYS clean. SHE was always clean and taken care of... read more
