I want to specifically recognize Lakeisha “Kim,” the Director of Nursing, and Katrece, the Director of Marketing. They have truly been angels in helping my family address concerns regarding my grandfather’s care. I would not recommend Avir Irving Nursing Home to anyone who cares about their loved one. My aunt was transferred there after major surgery for a 21-day stay for physical therapy, and the level of care she received was unacceptable. She was not given physical therapy daily as ordered by her doctor, yet staff documented in the system that she was receiving it every day, which is simply not true. My mother was admitted here for rehab after a fall. Not only did she receive poor care, she was injured three times due to negligence. Some days, they didnt get her out of bed. Other days they left her in an uncomfortable wheelchair all day. The only good things I can say is the housekeeping services were good and her room was kept clean and the food was better than an average nursing home. PLease Don't Take Love One's here. The parking is horrible, the place reeks of Urine, the furniture looks like they pick up from thrift store. The staff they pick up from salvation army (they look homeless.) The care is horrible NONE PROFESSIONAL. They left her without oxygen. She and other patients was asking to go to bathroom no never came. They wasn't given her medicine properly. My mom ended up back in the hospital after leaving this place

WARNING: Please do not send your loved ones here. This place is horrible. They have little to no parking for visitors. Their employees are smoking Marijuana on the south side of the building everyday. They're infested with roaches. They sedate patients so they don't have to watch them. They neglect folks and let them sit/lay in their feces to the point of soiling their sheets. They don't empty the urine catheter bags either. They let my mother in law fall out of bed and hit her head. They didn't even notify my wife about her... read more
