Caveat accounting adjustments Avex offered a legacy employee bonus scheme. A certain percentage of each quarter’s Income from Operations was allocated to distribute among all employees in recognition of their diligence. Around 2013 to 2015, two finance department employees, Mr. GE, and Ms. BR conspired to “adjust” the amount to be distributed. Sometimes $100,000 was added to the calculation, once even $150,000. Avex - “when the details matter” On June 2, 2014, an Avex employee, Mr GE, called the two company owners/officers into his office. A respected lady on the Avex maintenance team had made two, yes two, complaints of sexual harassment against one of the Avex owners to Mr GE. Mr GE was in a supervisor role at the time.
