Please seek care anywhere else. The executive director Marcus is rude not just with clients but also with the nurses and schools. I’ve been through hell with this agency the past 18 months. Unprofessional, unreliable, and unpleasant. Had a nurse quit on the spot and took them nine weeks to onboard a replacement even after I found the nurse myself, costing me tens of thousands of dollars in lost pay. Not even an apology. Even though former President Biden issued an executive order supporting family caregivers in April of 2023, Aveanna looks for any possible loophole or excuse to not pay mothers to be the paid caregivers of their children. If you're a parent of children with special needs, don't apply to work here. My wife's case to work with our kids was approved, and they trained her, and within roughly two months time, our second income was gone. It wasn't a lot of money as she only got paid when I was working, but it was better than zero.... read more
