My mother in-law received excellent care during her stay at Avantara Chicago Ridge. The staff was attentive, kind and skilled. Special shout out to Tiffany from the wound care team. Thanks to the receptionist for always having a warm smile and welcoming greeting.
The therapy department is a 4 star. The food is ok but can be a little better.
Hard to get help at times I would have to call nurses station from home, in bed 23 hours a day despite PT and OT
DO NOT put your family in this facility. My mom and dad’s long time friend was admitted here and they put his catheter in the WRONG WAY!!!! They put it in reverse, therefore his urine was going back up into his private area causing it to become infected almost killing him, causing him a lot of pain.
Good staff. Good activities.
