I was hoping to leave a glowing review here, but my experience with this company simply resulted in a complete waste of time and being ghosted. Initially, I had good responses to my enquiries overall, though also received marketing material that contradicted information received in direct emails which was frustrating and confusing. I purchased a storage 2 years ago and all went well then. 6 months ago I asked for key replacement as I lost one and they told me that my only option was to change the lock. In November 2025 my lock stopped locking the storage. I contacted Steve Beck immediately via email and he replied that as it was on old lock (?!?) he needed two weeks to receive it. My initial experience with Steve from Australian Over Bonnet Storage was good. However, my concern was that I could not get copies of the keys. Two are supplied with the unit. I understand from Steve that the product is manufacture in China the blank key seems to be of Chinese origin so Australian locksmiths appear not to be able to make copies. I tried every locksmith in Brisbane to have duplicates made but unfortunately with no success. So if you lose one key you have one left, lose that one and you need a locksmith to rep... read more
