I'm an amateur luthier who started building guitars in 2021, and most sets of tonewood I've used has come from David at Australian Guitar Timbers. My first build featured Camphor Laurel back and sides with a Silver Quandong top. My second was a Master Grade Tasmanian Blackwood back and sides with a Bunya Pine top. I have bought several sets of acoustic soundboards from David and each has been absolutely top quality, perfect moisture levels and a joy to work with. David has supplied conventional species such Tas Blackwood and Red Cedar as well as some more exotic species like Camphor Laurel and Narra. My unusual designs respond well to these fine timbers. Great job David, keep up the good work.
